h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am struggling to keep saine!

For two days I have had all sort of electric tools, that go wizz, clutter, and woom. making an almighty racket.

To make my office more plesant, a foul smelling chemical is being aplied. My windows are tightly closed, but have fans that let in all the noise and smells in.

I'm now tired and a wonderfull headache, and still three more hours to go, before getting into my car and driving home.

Perhaps tomorrow will get better, but I hold no real hope

so sorry to hear about work conditions.... surely you can't be expected to work like that...
wouldn't do for me, having to have the windows closed... even in winter i have to have a window open at some stage to let the fresh air in...
go off sick til the works done, before it sends you off sick...

THANKS FOR THE EARDEFENDERS, sorry for shouting Jonathan, it is still a little noisy around here.

You would love my office today PAGANMOON, they have opened all the windows, so I can enjoy the construction or should taht be deconstruction noise.

lightman.... well in a choice between noise and smells, i'll choose noise... at least you can wear johnathans ear defenders... lol... at least with the windows open it won't be as stinky...

Well an email from the powers that are. (who only come on site when the builders on a break) it will finish today Friday...
