Better than the second coming! My LAPTOP just arrived!
My hands were shaking so bad, I could barely sign the little electronic pad.
Yey UPS! 7 days it took to come!

YES! And the guy was wearing a uniform and everything. I had on my pink hoodie and a pair of man's boxer shorts. What a nice contrast.
But it is here!
Things about it :
*No touchpad (but that's not terrible stuff)
*Has about 50 million programs on auto-start
*It's "used" but it looks like it was one of those that get sent back to the factory for repairs.
*It's on charge right now
*There is a scary sign on the side that says something about lead on the powercord - what is that about?
*It fits perfectly on my lap
*It's kinda 80's style
*It has Windows 98 on it, but after deleting all those stupid programs I don't need, I might put 2000 on it
*jumps up and down like a loonie*
Definitely makes up for not seeing A Perfect Circle tonight.

Any trans-atlantic voltage problems?
Will I regret asking what a hoodie is? I've been having to restrain myself from posting when people have been use veggie to mean vegetable recently because it means vegetarian in the local vernacular. So the idea, taken from Hitch-Hikers, which they paraphrase as "veggies" are averse to being eaten becomes extra funny with that mix-up.

I broke down and decided to check out the system. Once I've scanned it for viruses and spyware, I'll go back and let it charge some more.
