Who's still here who knows me then?

As above. Back in the UK after 2 years in Aus, almost got sponsored to stay but it fell through. So now I'm here, unemployed at my mum's house aged almost 29. Ouch.
Just been reading through a load of my old journal entries and cringing a lot... I was a maudlin cringey little b*stard wasn't I? GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS. Guess I just got older, but it took me well into my 20's for it to happen, most of it's what I'd expect from a teenager.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy and chilled these days, obviously life has it's ups and downs but that's just life innit!

*puts up hand*
I remember you, my dear. You were around a lot in... *wracks brain* about 2003? Around the same time as Seraphina, I think.
And Nyssa, and Njan. Cor, that was a while ago. Nice to see you back.

Hi Bob!
You and I had dinner in Bristol one time - you had a broken leg...

Hey guys!
Course I remember our hotel restaurant dinner Beatrice. Nyss and VIP, met you at that London meet I went too.
I'm reasonsably cool, lots has happened since I was regularly on here. I was part of a team that started a charity and a community arts festival which today is one still going and a highlight on the Bristol calendar www.brisfest.co.uk
I went to Aus about a couple of years ago, travelled around a bit and gravitated back to Sydney where I tried to make my life. Work was sponsoring me and I didn't want to return, was earning loads of money and living in the middle of Sydney, unfortunately it all fell through on a technicality and I had two weeks to leave on my current visa, was even an illegal immigrant for 5 days!
I had a girlfriend on off for about 3yrs, a mistake I'm not gonna make for a while again! We even went ot Aus together, split up over there, she came home after a year and was married to someone within 2 months! I honestly wish them both all the best, I've pretty much loved my life ever since!
When I was in Sydney I really didn't want to come back, but now I'm here I've realised why I used to love this city. An amazing street art scene (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-14601364) and the best place in the world for the music I am into, famous worldwide(http://www.bristolinmotion.com/index.php/line-up)
So now I'm back, got a job interview tomorrow, the pay isn't great, it's 1 1/2hr drive away but it might lead to a lot of opportunites. Main aim right now is get back into work and get my own place again, living at my mum's is loooong...
So how's everyone else been? How are your lives?

err... and who says you've got to grow up by.... the time yoru twenty? I'm on a downward slope towards forty and I ain't seen no sign of my growing up yet I spen an entire day just quacking like a duck rahter than talking a couple weeks ago... Only downside it made ordering beer a bit tricky...

Ha, it's not about growing up 2legs. Trust me, I'm a long way from that! It's just about not being a hormoanal teenager when you aren't!!!
