There was a great BBC R4 feature about a Sami woman migrating with her herd. About how it's a juggling act involving the availability of grazing and ferry bookings. All coordinated by cell phone.

Hmm. My problem at the moment is focussing on any one thing long enough.
When are you next in these parts, SatV?

Oh, Peter is lovely!
Want some insider tips? My brother-in-law teaches Russian Politics at a university and knows it well. I went in Gorbachev's first year and had a total blast.
I shall be travelling through Copoenhagen frequently, it seems. Dinner in Christiania? It's where I shall be headed each time, to pick up supplies.

I haven't been in St Petersberg since it was Leningrad. Is it still as gorgous as it was in 1982?

The best words in the book is any derivation of eloquence.
Because in my book, in this country, you only succeed in profitable venture if your eloquent, and from an eloquent priviledged background.
The royals are eloquent, business people are eloquent, union leaders are eloquent, and they can all show ancestry in the family business.
Without eloquence they have no way to distinguish themselves as different to people like me.
So eloquence gets my vote as the biggest money making attribute, and is therefore indeed a fine word.

But they ing shouldn't. I'm eloquent, I admit. But even the non-eloquent have their right to a say. Sometimes the eloquent should just shut the up and take the time to listen.
(Sorry for the . Hootoo policy on sweary-words has got childish again.)

I'm just clever, sorry would never admit to that when I actually was clever. But not eloquent, because I was just clever at seeing patterns.
I was always arriving at theorems and proofs before the course reached them at uni. Can't now though.
I despise people that use long words in order to achieve a sense of superiority, when in fact they are not superior or better. They just choose language to mask their inabilities.

Aye. And contrary to what (eg) MENSA members like to think, there are many, unrelated ways of being clever.
NEVER feel inferior for what you can't do.

My Top Tip would be the Alexander Nevsky cemetery. It's right near a metro of the came name (only with a genitive ending), along Nevsky Prospekt. Find out when there's singing in the church.
And you'll need at least three days for the Hermitage...
Jaysus! What is it with me and cemeterys?
