Senior year is supposed to be *better*

Not worse than every other semester combined. I have thirty zillion projects that all require me to meet in groups to get anything done and I've taken to spending more time in the engineering buliding than I do in my room, including sleep! Not only that, but I definitely have a case of senioritis so I don't even care about all this work that's sucking away my life. I don't see anyone outside of my major except for the rare weekend hours, where I go out and stay out too late and don't get caught up on my sleep that I missed from the previous week.
So sorry that I'm not around much and quite possibly won't be until after this semester ends. How's everyone else doing?

Thanks to the way I organize my work I have been able to get a lot more done in a lot less time. I can officially say that after being in school for almost 20 years of my life its mostly all the same. It will never ever get better. Anyway I am busy, but I somehow still have enough time for my beloved h2g2

I have senioritis...I've been skipping so much PE it's not funny. On the other hand, I really like uni; it's so damned easy.

Ah yes, university Vrs yr 12 arguments... Well for one thing you concentrated on one or two topic in uni, where as in yr 12 your still doing about 5 and have no idea what your going to do at uni still. When your atg uni you get only 15 weeks istead of 20, you aslo have lecturers and tutors who don't nessasrily have any educational qualifcations whatsoever. Plus as an added bonus you get revision of all the stuff you did in year 12 in first year, where as in second year you have what is know as new stuff! You should look forward to it, its somthing to hope for. As I now only have one year left I am in awe at the fact that I am in classes with 2nd years who still think its a good idea to hand in lecture notes as there assignement. How long do you want to stay 2nd year exactly?

Second year was a pretty good year. I hadn't quite figured out how to cram in lots of legitimate work by then but it was still pretty easy. I laugh at my "busy" workload from high school. But next semester I have one or two completely free electives! (as opposed to ones you have to choose from an approved engineering list)
Give me another few years and I can let you know if engineering is really worth it.

Well I only have one year left, but I only have 4 years originally and I think I started before you. However I get 2 degrees! Yay!

Dammit, I only get one! It is four years worth of class, however, and to make things better engineers have to take more credits to graduate than other majors if that counts for anything.

I have to have 94-96 credit points but I think the system is different, it changes uni to uni

No, I think *I* did. My fault for not bothering/having time to check good old h2g2 for ages. I feel sad that I'm neglecting things so badly.

Excellent. I need some healthy procrastination, but now it ends up that I do other work to avoid the stuff I don't want to do. But... only three and a half courses next semester!

I do procrastination to avoid procrastination as well, sometimes my procrastinations procrastination gets procrastinated

Betty, I know exactly how you feel. In fact, that's why I've been off h2g2 (with minor exceptions) since June. But that didn't help; I still got a horrible case of sophomoritis, which was made worse by the fact that engineering and insatiable addictions to theater don't mix.

I know how that goes. Engineering plus several music groups plus dance class... means that my friends think I'm insane for taking so many classes but I love them all. Senioritis is much worse; all you can do is skip class and then do the work later. I have noticed much more consuming of alcoholic beverages in the engineering building this year, if that's an indication of anything (not sure that it is).

Wonderful. I have about two more weeks of hell, then a month off (!) and then my last semester which shouldn't be nearly as bad.
