How was it for you?

Christmas I mean. Mine was spent in bed with a nasty dose of flu, the worst one I've ever had in my life. If coughing were an Olympic sport I'd be a gold medalist, and my nose could easily run 1000 metres. My first day outside today and I'm tired but glad to be feeling a bit better at last.
So, happy new year to you.

Oh, poor you
Our Christmas was fantastic, thank you. Fun only slightly dented by small boy having a mild cold.
Hope you feel well very soon, and I wish you health and happiness for the coming year.

Thank you.
What I missed most was seeing the children open presents on Christmas day.
Feeling better but off to doctor's tomorrow to check up on this cough.
Best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year in good health.

There's some nasty stuff going around lately. You're lucky if remnants of the flu don't dog you for weeks, Mistadrong.

You are so right paul, this particular (nasty) strain is doing the rounds
of my town. A lot of people have come down with it and it tends to last for weeks.
I went to the doctor who diagnosed a chest infection so I'm on penicillin atm.
I think there's some improvement but I can still cough for Britain.
I just wish it wasn't such a dry non-productive cough.
