Saw Ozric Tentacles at the Standard Thursday night, and what a mind blowing gig it was. loads of familiar tracks with just enough new stuff to really get me bouncing about. Major soundscapes, twirly floating synths, driving bass, and of course Ed's astounding guitar work with John's magic flute up front. The drummer was playing out of his skin, with such complex drum patterns it was almost hypnotic. I would recommend anyone to go see them if they get the chance. Music from a band of geniuses. Nothing more I can say!
