As I sit and watch the news ( more death, destruction, mayhem, terrorism, and general worldwide nastiness ), I can't help feeling just a bit sad for the world. Mankind could do so much good, if it would only stop using all the wonderful technology it has for so much bad. please stop the world for a few seconds so that I can get off and go somewhere a bit more tolerant and peaceful.
Oh well we're all entitled to a little dream, maybe if we all had the same dream the world would change for the better.

Unfotunately, the only way people will stop using technology for evil is to do away with technology completely. And while some people could live w/o, most are so cemented into daily routine (be it getting to work in cars or just wandering 'round on h2g2) that we would be completely lost with out. I know I would, at least.
It would be nice if everyone had a change of heart and became nice.
