Robert

Well, it looks like that time of the week again! THe sun's shining, the birds are singing and I'm sitting in a small room typing this into a computer in the hope that someone'll actually read it. I really think that I should get out more.

Anyway, I've sorted out the subediting issue, and I've got a batch of four to edit. In fact, I've already finished with two of them, "Cascading Style Sheets" which was a pleasure to edit, mainly because the author actually responded to my notes for once.

The other entry was "Dwarf Throwing" (smiley - laugh), which everyone at school had a good laugh about, and so it seems did Anna. This time, the author didn't seem to want to talk, so I edited the entry and submitted it. Oh well. It can go in my collection of strange guide entries, along with "How to make an atom bomb" and the like.

And now I come to the strange and weird part of my journal, the part where I say things that are so amazing (how do you spell that word) that they've just got to be real. This week is the Interconnectedness of All Things, as told in "Dirk Gentley's Holistic Detective Agency", which I borrowed from the library on Wednesday.

Basically (I really should find some other words to put at the start of paragraphs), I think, having read the book and observed Life in it's entirity (oh god, another typo) for a few days, that Something is going on.

What it is going on is a different matter, but I will explain the Something bit now. Have you ever wondered, for example, how you know when someone is watching you, staring at you or reading what you're typing into your journal over your shoulder? In fact, wait a minute...

*turns round*

Go away, I'm trying to write personal stuff here!

*turns back*

Sorry about that, anyway, where was I up to? Oh yeah, the staring thing. That's got to be suspicious though, hasn't it? Another thing is that feeling of déja-vue (or whatever it's called). I get it all the time, and I'm starting to suspect that Something has something to do with it.

To this end, I'm going to start testing myself to see if I'm making all this up. Then, I'm going to write a small theory (probably in my journal next week). Then I'm going to do my homework (grr...). If that's not enough, I might finish the other two entries on my list (maybe).

Anyway, I'll have to go now 'cause I've bee writing this offline and my mum's just answered the phone so I've got to go and pester her again smiley - sadface.

*turns round*

Oh, and stop reading this over my shoulder please.

*turns back*

See you again next week!
