I look around and see so much. It confuses me. But what do I ramble of? Musedom and Keeperism and so many other titles. In fact, I am relising that there is much more than just writing guide entires; it's an entire planet. And so thus, I require assistance from some one or thing (I think I saw that there are monsters here?). Help....

Love your Harrison tribute. I believe he and John were the more talented of the Beatles. Paul is not to be brushed off, he just went too "pop". I think after 25 years I'm OK but I am tone deaf and sort of hit a plateau.

I am "computer challenged" and can be of no help to you what-so-ever. I can keep you company to keep the monsters or time-trippers away. (Theme to Time Bandits one of Harrison's best.)

It just so happens I also teach the history of India. I have never been there but have purged the minds of those who have been, and have lived there. My mentor was a friend of Satyagit Ray the maker of "Panther Panjali". (suspect my spelling and note my name) He also golfed in the contested state of Kashmir. I want to go to India but I want to do so on my own terms; its so passe to be a tourist, especially American.

There is much much more in the world. Since my funds do not at the time allow me to visit every place I wish, I read instead. Vicarious enjoyment of the world. By habit I should be reading now, but I have ACE duty and wanted to see how the time-travel thing was going. "Philadelphia Experiment" ? How about "Phildelphia Story" ! (Must be careful here: close to violation.)

I also love etemology. Do you know the origin of the word "cynic"? I'll never tell . "Dulce Et Decorum Est Desipere In Loco."--Horace. No I do not speak or read latin, but I can drudge my way trough it because I was raised Ramon Catholic in the days of latin masses. I guess I have fallen away because now I would describe myself as a Sikh/Toaist. Either that or reject description at all.

Hey, it was you who led me to the Beatles history article so no one is saying you plagiarized. Yeah, I am an ACE but that only means I am dangerous to myself. I just got into a bruhaha with some fellow ACE's about a suspicious user. Check the aceforum and you will see what is going on. I had to turn the matter over to Abi, which I hated to do, but I know I am correct because I am logged-in and on-line 24/7. I have never seen a new user morph so quickly.

Anyway, I actually got some sleep today: 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Lord, what am I going to do once I find a 9 to 5 job?

Wat did you have to hand over to Abi? I don;t recall. Course, I havn't chekked my E-mail in 2 days. Oy. I must have 100 e-mails.

It was a total misunderstanding. I'm not sure how to explain it. Myself and another ACE felt a newbie was rather suspicious. A third ACE stepped in and told me to back off. Well, I sent both ACEs a private email explaining my position. At that point there were some weird server errors: every one was getting [non-text part of message removed] messages which appeared to be forewards of the third ACE. The second ACE tried to fill in the blanks by referring to past 'posted' messages about this suspicious newbie. Well, the third ACE thought I had forwarded our private email to the second ACE and asked the second ACE to post it for me on the forum. The third ACE went ballistic! Vicious attack on my character. I told him to take a quaalude and check the history of the postings on the forum. Sure enough I was correct: no private email contents had been posted. Abi was contacted by me to help put out the flame. The third user had to send me and the second user a personal apology and post a general apology on the forum. I gladly accepted the apology. Since then the third ACE has come to my help on the forum while the second ACE "took a powder" and has steered clear of me. Darn!! Flaming can cost friends and on h2g2 I do not want to lose friends. I already flamed shagbark (before I was an ACE) over moderation. I asked Abi if she could erase any referrence of my temper-tantrum over the moderators. It did disappear from my page but can be found in the history (nuts!).

Hope this all made sense. It was very confusing. I would rather forget it and go and apologise to shagbark.
