What? Am I seeing things?

A couple of days ago I saw that Z4 again, then I saw an M3 not twenty minutes later. And the strange thing is that I could swear that they had European registrations. Is someone importing BMWs and not registering them in New Zealand?

I don't know. They couldn't drive them for long unregistered. One possibility is that they're imported used cars and the owners are keeping the original plates. In these days of personalised plates, that might be possible (as long as the format of the plate conforms with NZ regulations).
???????

I saw these motors - or I should say, I saw their rear ends disappearing up the road - JN says that the European format *could* be acceptable here.
But? ?????????

There are a lot of people with EU stickers placed on their cars. Maybe someone put one on their licence plate.

Could be! We saw them again yesterday, and Jimmy was overwhelmed - kept asking me if I had seen what he had seen...

Actually, what I did see on the weekend was an early to mid 90s Jaguar Sovereign that had been lowered and fitted with big shiney mags and tinted windows.

That's by turning it into a boy racer vehicle! Horrors!

If I recognise the moddle correctly. It comes with a factory installed super charger. A boy racer would need a big set of clangers to take that on.
