This is pathetic. 
I try and post something and it times out on me so I post it again, look at the thread and behold, it's posted my thread twice. 
. If the damn system takes the update then why does it time out and tell you it hasn't. Lets just hope that this upgrade sorts this speed problem out because H2G2 is becoming less than useable

It's nothing new, believe me. It's always been like that. The best way to do it is to assume once you have pressed the update or post button, then it has gone. It seems no matter what happens after that, the info was received. Unless it says Gateway timeout. Whatever that means of course. If I get a time out when I am posting to a forum, I use the back button, then refresh the thread. If my post is not there, I fo forward again, and press the stupid button again.
But I know what you mean. Even doing that I still manage to post 3 times in a row occasionally.
