Jump-starts his writing arm again

Mister Matty

I've been inspired to start writing again. I'm working on an as-yet untitled short story that, unusually, I have sketched out the whole plot for rather than making it up as I go along. This bodes well for it being finished.

I sent the first few pages to a friend via the power of the internet and he said it was reminded him of Roald Dahl's short stories. This is probably a good thing.

Oh, and I have a name for my screenplay. "Four Horsemen".

the four horsemen sounds interesting. what sort of style do you have?
and anything like roald dahl should be good. i liked his compelations switch bitch and kiss kiss. a rather good short he did was ah sweet mystery of life.

"Four Horsemen" originally went under the (crap) working-title "Japesome". It's a medieval comedy.

I'm not sure I've read many of Dahl's short stories. I know his kids books, of course.

prithee sirrah. forgive a lowly wenchsmiley - winkeye.

i highly recommend mr dahl's more adult work. a lot of it was filmed as tales of the unexpected.

Rest assured, my story will not be opened with some naked girls dancing in sillouette.

I was told that it was Dahl-esque in that it opens on an ordinary scene that quickly becomes extraordinary. It get's a lot "better".

I still can't think of a title for it, titles are not my strong point. It's taken me a year or so to come up with a title for the screenplay.
