Mister Matty

I've had another of those smiley - blue weeks.

I really need to find something to cheer me up, or for something good and life-affirming to happen for once (chance would be a fine thing, etc smiley - winkeye ).

Or I could just go out and get drunk or something smiley - cheers

Sorry, but I'm back in Fife this weekend, so no go. There's nothing good at the cinema just now anyway... smiley - erm

Yeah, your German flatmate said you were Fife-bound.

Another time, maybe? (although with my rotten luck it'll be after I've had a nice soothing week)

Thanks, Daroline. I think I'm going to head off to my favourite pub tonight with my daft mate Nizzy and then possibly watch the Wicker Man. Sort of a good way of leaving things behind. Maybe. smiley - winkeye

We didn't watch "The Wicker Man" in the end (I've had it on loan for nearly two months, still not got round to watching it - only just finished watched "Time Bandits" piecemeal), we just headed down the pub and had a coupla pints. I was amazed by how slowly I drank mine, to be honest. If only I could apply the same to eating food...

I thought "A Knight's Tale" was great. The name of the guy who played Geoffrey Chaucer escapes me. Heath Ledger, who played the Knight, was originally pencilled-in to play Alexander the Great in Oliver Stone's new film, but they ended up giving the part to Leonardo di Caprio smiley - cross.
