What the heck is going on with this site at the moment...
I'm not talking about the various changes to the house rules, those I can live with...
I'm talking about the endless stream of people who appear to have one purpose in life... Wingeing!
We've people complaining they're being picked on, people complaining their entries are being ignored, people complaining they've been insulted, people complaining the site's going downhill, people complaining the rules are overly tight... The list goes on and on!
And now me - complaining about people complaining!
Either I'm subscribed to the wrong conversations or the site's being overrun by conspiracy theorists, those who believe hootoo should be a rule-free environment and those who seem to have a streak of paranoia a mile wide!

People have been complaining about complaining for years. You're lucky you've just missed it.
Personally I'm complaining about the people on this site. They just get on my tits.

well, i'm complaining about not really finding anything to complain about. the fact that i have a hard time caring must be someone's fault, and obviously not mine.
how do i get whinge-enabled? is there some chain-e-mail to answer? a secret handshake? just whose buddylist do i need to get on? i want a whinge and i want it NOW!

Personally, I think the site is on its last legs. A symptom of this is when people seem unable to distinguish between the likes of us, who have dedicated huge amounts of time and effort to keeping it going (and now on life support) and people who do next to nothing and then come down with pious cant on those who can and do distinguish.
I may be objectionable at times, but at least I say what many others think but wouldn't be prepared to say. So, if your opinion of me has fallen somewhat, then if it's ultimately because I've been prepared to take a stand then I really am not that bothered, mate.
