I'm off for a couple of days,
Might be online for a short while on Thursday or Friday, then again on Monday but after that I'm off spending a week working in a client's offices, and I somehow think the client may object if he sees me playing on H2G2 - especially seeing how much I'm costing him
If you need to reach me leave a note on my personal space (If you leave it in an existing conversation I'll never see it - a full weeks backlog of all the conversations I seem to be subscribed to will take me at least a month to get through...)

If the urge to come online is too great which knowing all of us it will be, remember there's two little words that usually avoid detection... alt tab

Chance would be a fine thing, I'm stuck in an office, working on an old 486 which hasn't even got internet access for the rest of the week (I even came back to my own office just to check up on H2G2), but I'm not an addict, honestly
On top of that I'm stuck in an office full of ignorant pigs....
As far as I can see the boss asked my company to provide a translator as he wanted a load of documents translated before the end of the week... The thing is, the boss is on holiday for a fortnight and his staff obviously had no intention of even starting to write the documents for another week. So I turn up on the doorstep and they've actually got to get off their backsides and do some work, which they aren't too chuffed about... and as they're paying my boss something like £300 per day for a translator, if the work doesn't get done coz they haven't finished writing the originals someone's gonna get the sack when he gets back...
God I love office politics
Key: Complain about this post

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
