and i'm still baffled as to how a thread can have -1 new postings according to my page

I've had some that show over a hundred negetive postings 
I think its a glitch in teh programming whatsit for the site that deals with showing how many new posts there are... Unfortunately they don't seem to have sorted it out as yet
