I'm worried that the world will become uninhabitable for life as we know it. If anyone reading this is an environmentalist, could you please take the time to at least remind me that I'm not the only one who's worried, and that there are people alive who can and are doing something about it?
If you think environmentalism is a bunch of balogna I'd rather you not try to cheer me up by telling me that I'm worrying needlessly. I've been studying this in college, and I have definatley reached the conclusion that environmental scientists are as smart as they claim to be.

I'm not an environmentalist (well, I don't think of mself as one), but I'm concerned about the planet too. And I do my small part.

My dear friend is on holiday so I will accept a cuppaon her behalf.
I can vouch for "she does her bit"
I've seen her kitchen
I also do my bit, I wish it were possible to do more.
I recycle all my glass, tins, newspapers: give reusable clothes to charity, etc. Always cut up any plastic can holders I find. Use recycled toilet paper
Energy-efficient light bulbs
That was delicious
I'm sure Mina will join us for another pot ofwhen she returns {I hope it's soon, I miss her}

Well, this virtual was organically shade grown There are so many little things people can do that really save a lot. I live in a hot climate, but I use my air conditioning as little as possible. Not only do I pollute less as a result, I'm using less fossil fuels, which means I'm making future fossil fuel exploration less neccisary, and I'm saving myself money!

Hmm, thanks for this . Most relaxing to come home to.
Don't forget today's fossil fuels are yesterdays plants. Or something.
I try not to use the heating too much when it's cold, but my house gets bitterly cold in the winter. Stupid north facing walls.
No need for air conditioning here.

Yes, today's fossil fuels are yesterday's plants, but today's plants are not tomorrow's fossil fuels. It takes billions of years, a certain climate/ atmospheric conditions, and a specific set of circumstances (the plant/ animal matter must quickly be covered by a layer of sediment) for plants to turn into oil.
