I've just realised I've got more social events going on in June and July then at any time in my life so far...
Not only do I have a good chance at getting a small cottage all to myself to live in. not bad rent.
But Every weekend until the middle of July I'll be buisy somewere. Cheltium, Manchester, London, London again for a week, Is this what they meant by see the world, meet interesting people?

..Considering that "The World" is always round the next bend of the road, yep,i guess that must be pretty accurately much what They had in mind when They said it. Meeting interresting folks depends on ones frame of mind, n´since your attitude seems very adaptable..
-Youre a Man of the World, squire!
May da Force b with ya´!

it's only when you can stand out and say that you are 1, 1 alone and that you would like to do things with others, thats when you are free.

..Would that call for setting a few bridges on ablaze,
(..hands big sis the matches, but emphasizes the dangers of playing with fire!..)
-or is it just the barbed wire of conformity holding you back?
(..trustfully lends her his 1/3 felco-cutter..)

I think I have been making rules which prevent myself from doing things
Busy, Busy
Privateer Posted Jun 16, 2003
..Thats not so very unusual, i think.
There´s the "i better not.. " ,
-in order not to get caught up in futile arguments- kinda rules..
or maybe the "What would all those mighty fine people think if they knew how i yearned to.. oh-oh" -keepin a lid on things-rules..
and the "hmm..-I can´t quite work out how this geezer functions.. Better not mess to much with it, as not to risk settin of an uncontrollable chainreaction.." -precautionary rules..
What is it that suggests the need for special legislations on your behalf?

DoctorMO (Keeper of the Computer, Guru, Community Artist) Posted Jun 16, 2003
Ah yes but precautions are exactly that, somthing you do before doing what you want to make sure. no one said thinking was out lawed only that people shouldn't hold themselves back.
I think your starting quite well Optical+I.

HEY NOW!jusstaminut, mate .. Are you suggesting eye should get a pair o´glasses, doc?
-What a rudie!!
..I had plenty of em this saturday and early sunday morn..
If i´d done a bit of calculative thinkin´ first, i might´ve saved a pr£tty $ub$tantial bundle, ..but i didnt wanta houl myself back, nut this time,no sir!
Woke up with a volupturous, all natural wuman of the finest kind.
I´m defanitly not tryin puttin a ban on commonsense, though it´s role in human history can only be exagerated ,at best..
- what i was somewhat tryin to narrow down was the nature of the self-inhibit "barbed wire"..
I think..

I was mainly kidding. And i guess youre proBably right about that, but such fears can have a great many reasons, of which the above mentioned was just a few.
..As i said, i was tryin to,curiously and genuinely interrestd,
find the cats angle on this particular stew.
I was employed by a captain once, who claimed that he quoted Freud when he said:
"When you realise the intimate nature of your disorder, you will no longer require treatment"
-I dont know if its true, or even whether it is an accurate quote,
cos he said a lot of strange and bizarre things.
-but he was always game for a quick, intuitive diagnosis

Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups Posted Jun 17, 2003
I think I got rid of that barbed wire last night. I'm knackered from dancing and I think if I see anymore alcohol (especially vodka) I'm going to be sick. Alcohol can lead you to relax a lot and although I felt ill last night I was on cloud 9 and I dont want anyone to bring me down.
