What does "U" mean? (I did my "O" and "H" grades over 20 years ago, and in Scotland, so the grading system was entirely different on two counts...)

It was so nice of them to have confidence in you like that. Is it a Widnes thing (wrong side of the bridge? joking!), or were you hiding your light under a bushel or whatever? Anyway, well done for exceeding their expectations.
love Kat xx
PS Hotblack Desiato had rejoined the Curiosity killed the Cat convo, and it's really very exciting...

PPS This is random, but I took my driving lessons and test in Runcorn and Widnes. Just down the road from me it is. Know Frodsham at all? I'm from round those parts. Small world and all that.
Just a thought... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh, I bin there. I'm in Ditton at the moment, although things may change, recently they have been getting much much better. could you give me a link back to that conversation, I can't quite place my cursor upon it. my mother was taking Driing tests just last year, she said that driving on that bridge is almost a bad dream come true, because you don't know if a tanker will swerve into you. Oh did you pass?

Linkage: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F69715?thread=118824&latest=1 Yes, thank you, I passed first time, on Jan 6 2000. Wow, driving for two tears officially, thought I'm at uni mostly and don't really get the chance. And yes, I hate that bridge - scared me a lot. Too many lorries.

Orange surprise? The surprise isn't that there's no oranges in it, is it? My flatmate makes good tea. Even if our water's horrible and hard.

good, cos i'd hate to see the insanity levels of the youth of today rise again due to yet more e-numbers! i'm quite mad enough, and after all, we're both sharing in the tea party, right?
ok, hows about we stick to chocolate (after easter as i've given it up) and tea? & ? sounds like a plan. you can bring some orange surprise though, cos now i'm all curious...
