This is the first journal entry I've done in ages.
I guess some mildly interesting things happened lately, nothing like working in chocolate shops or anything like that, but yesterday I went to the dentist to get a filling. Actually, the worst part was really the sounds, rather than the pain. It was like: WWWHHHIIZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzz.... WWWHHHIIIZZZZZZzzzzZZZZ!!!!! And then there was a funny smell. I guess it was maybe friction on my tooth, and it sort of burnt? And afterwards, my mouth was numb from, the...numbing stuff. It was sort of annoying, after a while. So I guess I should take better care of my teeth from now on. And these jellybeans that I'm eating now are really tasty
So then later on, I bought a new bicycle. So that's cool. I've been saving money for that past year or so, so I could get a proper nice bike, rather than cheap Wal-Mart garbage.
And I'm going to New York City on the 18th! I can't wait! I'm going to go see Spamalot, the musical based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the greatest movie ever, really. Oh, yeah, and I'll see some the great historical monuments of the country, also, I suppose.
So...what else is going on.....Speaking of musicals, on the 9th I'm going to Dayton to see Movin' Out, a sort of rock opera or whatever of Billy Joel's music, which is pretty cool.....Um....I'm reading Catch-22. It's pretty good other that being really long.....Um....Another Entry of mine got picked: A9281072 And I'm working on another: A10340047 . Um....well....yeah, I think that's it, I'll shut up now.

Wow, that's some exciting stuff! I bet you'll have a huge journal entry when you get back from New York!
Congratulatons on the entry getting picked. You're doing so well with that. I haven't written an entry... I probably should. I plan to evnetually... but who knows how long that could take! Besides my laptop is still dead.
Dentists are no fun! But it's good to get it over with.

The dentist was pretty good, though. He wasn't an evil dentist like some are.

Well that's good. I haven't been to the dentist in quite a while. I guess I probably should go some time soon.

Hi FF, how are you ? Just thought I'd have a gander what donpanic is up to when he's not writing entries about Tangrams or Tae Kwon Do

Yes I have. I used to watch that show too. I don't think it comes on here anymore though... or if it does it comes on *very* late.

They were showing it on PBS here, but not anymore. That's what I like about PBS that they show a lot of british shows. PBS is the only half way decent programming in america anymore. Everything else is garbage like 'Who Wants to Marry a Stupid Fat Guy' Other than PBS, I don't really watch much TV. other than the Simpsons and DVDs.

PBS? Dare I ask ?
I stopped watching tv after I got more and more involved here, so i don't really know what shows are on here

Public Broadcasting Station. Sorry, I should have explained. It's a TV station devoted to 'quality programming'- Educational kids' shows, documentaries, british sitcoms (Britcoms as they call them) Old movies, travel shows...all sorts of things like that.

That sounds good - can you watch it nationwide ?
