Oh happy happy happiness!

I'm at home!!!!!
I'm home for the weekend. I'm in my own room, sitting at MY coputer which is on MY desk in front of MY chair. And I'm going to sleep in MY bed!!!!!!!!!
I came home because this is the only weeked my cousin-in-law / bestest friend has a day off. So I came here Saturday morning (it's now Sunday morning, 1:37am) and she's gone to bed because she has to work tomorrow. (Even though I've been trying to convince her to call in sick. I even made a poster and a logo and drew pictures! And she NEVER takes time off and was told she couldn't even though almost everyone else there is taking weeks at a time. She's supposed to wait until September.) It's so good to see her because we haven't seen each other aaalllll summer and even before summer we didn't get to see each other or talk much because so much was going on.
Anyways, tomorrow I will wake up in MY room. I will have a shower and then wash MY other set of blankets (because I want everything to be clean when I come home in September) and clean MY room with MY little tiny vacuum!
It's so nice to be in my own space. It's also kind of weird.
Oh happy happy happiness!

And now I'm cleaning MY room! It was weird last night though, because I've never slept in my room without my rabbit here. There was no banging and chewing in the night. Also, my little room looks HUGE compared to the room I'm sleeping in at my parents... Which I'll be going back to in a few hours.
But I slept in MY bed, after watching MY really tiny television. And I had a shower and used MY towel!
Weehaw!

And now I'm back. Back in Bradford. Back in the green room. Back to work tomorrow.

Hi ff!
I have to take Micio to the vet tomorrow for her annual checkup. I HATE doing it because it scares her so much. Will be glad when tomorrow is past.

Hi! Good to see you!!!
Poor Micio. Ben gets really upset going to the vets too. It's no fun to see them stressed and scared.
Luckily my bunny is super-friendly and has a good time at the vets. He gets stressed during the ride there and back though. Good luck to Micio and you tomorrow. Hopefully it's a nice quick check up and she recovers quickly from it!

Yoda send her commiserations to Micio. Her latest technique to get out of all this is that somehow she has managed to warp the catbox; so it doesn't close properly.
This won't work; i will simply truss her up like a chicken & stuff her in a rucksack.
My last cat; Rambo, had to be tied into pajama bottoms & stabbed in a random place when he needed jabs.

Hiya Terri!
Saw your post on other thread, wish I had some good advice on how to get some sleep/help your legs.
Do you guys believe in emotional telepathy? That if someone you know is in distress, you can pick up on it so to speak? I've been anxious all day, and I think I might be influenced by someone I know to be in crisis. Not anyone on hootoo, no one y'all know. What do you think of the plausibility of this?
ff, sorry if I've just hijacked your thread!

Oh, no problemo.
And yes! It's happened to me quite a few times. The most recent one was with a friend I hadn't seen in ages. I had a really weird dream about her and the very same morning I got a text message from her saying "I almost died!". Naturally I phoned her right away and found out that she had been in serious trouble in the hospital.

Yes, i believe in it too. Though i've found often the "response" at the "reciever" end is out of proportion to the actual nasty stuff that's happening to the person; it is very often that they are having an emotional crisis, not a physical one.
I'd say: if in doubt, contact them if possible & simply tell them about it. Most people will be really very touched that you thought of them; they are unlikely to say "Oh don't be so silly!"

It's nice to know that other people consider emotional thunderstorms at least partially contagious.
It would not be wise or practical in my particular case to try and confirm last night's feeling. But my hunch is, right on the money.

Well good luck with whatever it is!
I just worked an eleven hour day with children and was told to look after dinner as soon as I walked in the door. I just babysat from 6:30 this morning until 5:30 this evening. (It's 6 now, dinner is still going.) I am very very tired indeed.

Yes it is! Short week though. I'm not going on Friday because I have school stuff to do. So that's pretty nice.
And now I should probably actually eat dinner.
