Sci-Fi and Sickness...

I met Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Walter Koenig yesterday.
I had (and still have) a stinking cold.
Got some wicked photos though. When I get them off my friends cameras, I will stick them up on my website.

Was that a StarTrek convention or generic sci-fi one or ... ?
The cold sounds like a lot less fun. Look after yourself - you know the usual stuff: stay warm, drink fruit juice, don't over-exert yourself, don't go round infecting other people.

It was a general sci-fi one. It was Collectormania 6.

That's quite a guest list even without the no-shows. While there are some there who habitually make such appearances along with those for whom it must be a new experience, Carrie Fisher *had* sworn off having anything to do with it all. Did Walter Koenig seem as mad/manic as usual? I would expect him to be on any competitive game show type panel they might have had.

I always heard that Walter Koenig was a grumpy g**. However - he seemed pretty cool to me. Got a great photo of me and him. Will post it on my site when I get a copy. He wasn't manic - but he was still pretyy cool.
