Urg, I am meant to be writing up my little research project: Synthesis and charachterisation of a new chiral ligand.
Somehow I just cant get up enthusiasm... Curse this guide in all its brilliance, distraction is endless.

Join the club; I have a thesis for my MSc, which has to be done and dusted, and all finished in its entirerity by October; since I became locked into the H2G2 thing, and can't find the "exit" I haven't done the resurch to enable to begin doing the stats to enable to write it up;
Damm this wonderful H2G2!

You know, its actually not all that funny .
I have been utterly unable to work since I found this site.
Or eat for that matter. Or sleep. Or play.
What I need is some form of minicomputer wired into my skull so my subconcious can do all the h2g2 stuff I want as my physical body has a real life.

So correct, I have been on H2G2, playing guitar, smoking/eating/drinking, and have done no work; I am desperate to start my thesis, everyone else started their's a month ago and I haven't yet; its 40,000 words, and I have wrote zero; only got until october... Maybe I should go offline now..

hah, thats what I said yesterday, but here we are, writing lymericks for no good reason in particular
Still. 40 000 sounds likea lot, I just need some 25-30 pages altogether, not a whole book thank goodness.

There are many, many good reasons to write lymericks, I just can't think of any now!
And here we are; creating a whole conversation based around the fact that we should be doing work...
When the conversation itself contributes to our mutual lack of work!

Yes its quite brilliant isnt it ?
And it will be exactly the same when I get home: Why do work when I can re-read Dune I will think to myself, and then I will get angry for being so feeble, and go and find someone to complain to about my inability to get down to some serious thinking.
Maybe I should join the procrastinators, its just, I cant seem to get round to it....

Strange, I was looking at the procrastinators today, thought about joining, but figured it would be best to do it tommorrow..
I've forgotten what work is, I've forgotten what a thesis is, I've forgotten what outside is, actually, is there such a thing as "outside", or did I just invent the word?
ponders, maybe tommorrow..

Having fun in Manchester?
(My parents live in Cheshire in tiny dull village, so when I am home I tend to see quite a bit of Manchester)

Well, only go to manchester through Hobsons choice to be honest
It is not a very relaxed place - getting better now, but that bomb in center ages and ages ago left very slow healing wound in terms of city vitality.

I find Manchester a very dirty place;as soon as you go outside the center.
Cambridge is more friendly and I know all the pubs in CAMBrIDG!!
