I had a session on a Dreamweaver a few weeks ago - and meant to report back on it but as I went straight into what's known in the trade (a bit pretentiously perhaps ) as a 'Healing Crisis' I didn't!
A Dreamweaver's a 'full body surround sound system' a kind of twelve-faceted hollow apparatus which you lie under and which plays music to you while the healing couch you are on vibrates.
It was fine...I didn't really relate to the music but it was very relaxing but I simply can't tell if it did me any good at all because Benedick Howard, the guy who invented the Dreamweaver, also used a Scenar on me - and I think it was that that did all the work.
Scenar means Self-Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulation and it's used on Soviet Cosmonauts who can't use medicines - and it clears blocks in the body's energy systems. It's a little electronic pulsing device about the size of a telephone. It certainly located a block in me and, over about 15 minutes cleared it. I felt a bit light-headed and unfocused afterwards (and blissed-out) and, basically, half my life fell apart within a week and I spent another two weeks with flu!
However, good things are coming from it...and I've been recommended to go back for more. The jury's out on that at the moment. I think that, as a Taurean, I like my healing a little gentler but that Scenar is really something!

That's interesting - I've tried Scenar and it did nothing for me other than annoy and agitate me.
They're sooo expensive to buy! My partner and I were looking into making one for ourselves. I'll let you know!

Well as I had two almost totally sleepless nights afterwards I was fairly agitated - and possibly just a little annoyed too
I've just had a session with my Bowen Technique guy...hadn't been to him for three months. I am always so bright and creative after I've been with him - and this time it seems redoubled because of the work done before.
Led a workshop yesterday so I really should be resting today...but my Mum's coming to stay which means a major house clean. It's not that it's disgusting but it's not 'Mother-proof' clean! Oh well, not enlightened yet then!

I haven't tried the Bowen technique, but I'm thinking of giving it a go to see if it will help so persistant whiplash in my neck and shoulders. Wonder if it will work on my dodgy knee, M.E and my other catalogue of phsical disasters??
I'd have liked to have come to your workshop, but I was having mehndi done for the wedding. I'm glad that I can now finally wash all the sugar and lemon solution off - it's way too sticky in this weather!
How did the workshop go?
Making the house mother-proof is never an easy task huh?

So I just got this thought in the middle of the night...why would you want to make a Scenar when it made you annoyed and agitated?!? But actually I do think they are a good idea. I just think that I got a bit too much of this one at the time.
I'm affirming that my Mum's visit is lovely and peaceful - and there's no reason why it shouldn't be.
The workshop was lovely (even if I do say so myself). It didn't pan out as I thought it would - do they ever? - and we spent the WHOLE of the morning looking at the Laws of the Universe so we completely understood how 'the fear of the Lord (law) is the beginning of wisdom. There's so much stuff about 'we shouldn't have to fear God' and that's true of course...but Lord in those days referred to that aspect of God which decreed Divine Law - ie Karmic Law.
(God had ten names in those days - each one an aspect of Divinity and if you worshipped just one aspect you were in trouble - hence 'no other Gods before Me...' 'Me' being the Godhead, Divinity itself - the Alpha and Omega.
So really it was like learning about electricity. It serves you and does wonderful things as long as you know how it works and obey those laws. If you don't .
Once we'd done that we could get onto the Jesus stuff and pull apart miracles and parables and use them as 'cautionary tales' to show up how you think and act to create the equivalent in your life.
I learnt a lot from the responses...amazing stuff.
Bowen can do all sorts of things...I always come away balanced and clear and I am so creative for at least two weeks after a session.
Oh...and your email at Yahoo's bouncing. Did you know? It says the mail box is full...
Hope all is going well for the Big Day...
