h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

What's the reason for putting that anti-copy code on CDs when I don't INTEND to copy it, I just want to play it on my computer when I work. Well, then they FORCE me to copy it (to MiniDisc) since I can't listen to it in its CD form. Damn you, evil music corporations!

Anyway, lately I've really come into Billy Joel music, by the way. Cute songs (that are absolutely impossible to sing along with), extremely charming voice. Too bad he looks like a fish. But at least I can show people that not all the singers I'm into are good-looking (to my peculiar taste), but so far I think Joel is the only exception (imagening Paul McCartney as a twenty year-old, of course).

I read that the Beatles' 'Obladi-oblada' is voted into the top-ten list of the worst songs ever. As it happens, I ADORE the White Album version - it's really cruel to make that list and put one of my favourite songs in it. And 'Underneath your clothes' was nowhere on that list, which only goes to show I'm the only person in the world with some taste.

At this particular moment I'm listening to AC/DC's 'You shook me all night long' which is really, really good, you know. Too bad it's considered nigh ancient and 'harry' (meaning pathetic, passé) by my generation. It's cool, damnit! And I might have a thing for men in uniform (Hah! Get it?)
