Tilly - back in mauve Started conversation Jul 24, 2002
I've given this quite a thought. I've talked a lot with my family about it, and I think I'm now ready to say it as it is:
I'm dropping out of my Christian Conformation.
It was a mistake to sign up on that - it just took some time before I was sure I wasn't a Christian. That's all. I have told my family, and all have accepted it ("It's okay if we still can give you Conformation gifts" ) but I still haven't told my friends who think they'll travel with me on the Conformation trip. And we still haven't told the priest, although that really would be a wise thing to do
It's not a big deal at all I think. We'll see if I can get around and tell my friends sometime soon. I think it will be a healthy experience. For once I'm actually going to make a decision and don't back out of it (although that's exactly what I did in the first place )
Key: Complain about this post
