deserve to burn in hell

After all the crap going on in my life right now, this happens. I spend ages getting my car almost ready for the MOT, and some little b****rd decides to try and impress some girls by pinching a car. So he chooses mine.

It was recovered by the police, but it had been driven hard, and wrecked. Smashed driveshaft, bent doors and bodywork, electrics torn out, and stereo smashed. And just as the final capper on all this, it was not MOT'd, so the insurance is invalid.

My son has had to go stay with his grandparents, as I have no means of getting him to school(not walking distance), and my hubby has to get a bus to work and a taxi home. He works nights, so public transport is not running to get him home. Guess how expensive that is?

I know it was kids, as they were seen abandoning the car after trashing it. The driver was under 16. Where the hell are their parents? What is a kid that young doing roaming the streets late at night? I am sooo tired of listening to bleeding heart social workers and do-gooders telling me how under-privelidged these little monsters are, and how tragic it is that they have such awful homelives. No excuse. They are not misunderstood, they are criminals. It's not pampering and cosseting they need, it's a good dose of tough love.

These kids are our future. God help us.

That's awful mistdancer, I'm so sorry that it happened to you. My best friend had her car trashed a while ago, she parked it in a car park at a bowling club, it was her son's birthday, and came out to find someone had sprayed Nazi slogans all over it. She was just divorcing her alcoholic husband and trying to work it all out as a single parent. It was the last straw, and she ended up round at mine in floods of tears. It's so unfair. I really feel for you.

It just feels like the latest in a string of disasters. I know just how your friend feels, Peta. After the CSA, losing my job and all the other stuff, this is like the nail in the coffin
