Couldn't you have used something more interesting?

In case you ever want to test subject lengths, there's a thread around where someone tested it already.

Any news on 'launch' yet? I'm still waiting for that drink you promised me...

Argh! Don't mention my actions. smiley - erm ran into a misunderstanding earlier today, just because I didn't explain a quirky remark....
But don't worry about the name. I shall be adding a "moving to London in a month" soonish. Sounds better? smiley - tongueout

So it would seem. I'll (try to) finish the PhD (Law, would you believe) I started in Germany. So I shall be hanging out at Queen Mary sometimes. And I already figured how to get to the Slimelight, so that's taken care of smiley - bat. Maybe I should bring two sets of clothes?
Do you live in London? Anything I should know about Mile End? There even is an entry on the east end here in the guide smiley - coolsmiley - ok

hi

Post 14

I'm not really here

I live about 18 miles outside London. smiley - smiley I'm usually to be found popping in or out at least once a month. I wish it could be more. smiley - sadface

I don't go to slimelight myself, as the music isn't really my thing, but I go to the same place on Saturdays sometimes, as they do a disco night. smiley - smiley

I don't know anything in particular about Mile End, I don't think I've ever stopped there, although I've driven through it a fair few times. smiley - smiley

18 miles outside . Ok. Compared to anywhere in Germany that'd be a long way out, but for Melbourne it'd be close to the inner suburbs smiley - winkeye
Haven't been to the Slimelight myself, but friend of mine recommended it. The stupid thing is that their info "Goth/Industrial" could mean just about any kind of music. smiley - erm I shall see. smiley - smiley Might be running into you, then. smiley - bigeyes

Fine, Mile End is safe enough to drive through it, then. that's a start. smiley - winkeye

18 miles isn't far, it's about 40 minutes on a train, or an hour or so in a car to get into London proper, rather than on the outskirts.

I'm sure we'll run into each other, you'll be able to attend meet ups!

(I lock the doors. smiley - winkeye)

Tube - the being being back for the time being

40 bloody minutes by train, 60 by car? not far? smiley - huh Must of be a different one you're using, Luv. smiley - winkeye

And I *do* intend to be there and at the ZZ9 meetings and errr... whatever there is. Is there more to do in London? smiley - winkeye

Oh, you lock the doors? Hmpf!

Iiiiiihh!

Welll, you see they are a fairly common with Goths over here. Usually worn for decorative purposes only (sorry to disappoint you there smiley - winkeye). And they don't go well with my frilly/lacy gear. But I do own a pair of PVC trousers and ... and I was going to use them to chain all my tweleve important lever arch files to my arms. So there! smiley - tongueout

You're a Goth! oh dear. What hope is there for you? smiley - winkeye
Kidding!
PVC? Hmm, sounds very perve like, but also Goth like, so probably not so much a perve then? Shame. smiley - winkeye

Why do all my conversations go this way? Oh yes, I make them. Mind you, I didn't mention handcuffs first!
