Since we all die sometime, I occassionally write up a will. Here is a rough draft of what I intend to take to the lawyers next month. Note it includes reference to h2g2.
I leave my automobile and the proceeds of all life insurance policies to my wife.
I leave my Great Grandfathers family bible
to the [museum name redacted].
I leave the copyrights to all my articles in h2g2.com to Field Researchers Ltd and ask that h2g2.com be notified of my passing. My user number there is U170775.
I leave all printed manuscripts by me to my grandniece [name redacted}.
I ask that my mortal remains be cremated and interred in a cemetery at Houston,Texas.
I leave the balance of my estate to my Nephew [name redacted] and if he should predecease me to his heirs.

I always wanted to have my ashes strewn over the sea from where it would then silently make its way around the world (hey, there should be time enough for that, yes?, but I heasr it is really important to some people to have a grave or something to visit so after expressing my wish I will leave it up to my kids to decide
Maybe they'd prefer to have me on the mantlepiece so they can shout at me without me shouting back?

That is extremely kind and thoughtful of you Shagbark. When people don't leave a Will it's a damned nightmare for relatives who really don't need the hassle
I have a Will, which only changes when I change my name or marital status. A new one was made from scratch when my last divorce went through and that's with my solicitors. It's worth the ££ for the peace of mind it will give my family.
