I'm bald. The wig lady took off what little was left and gave me the wig. It's nice and cool without hair. Should've done it years ago
I went in for the second cycle of chemo this morning but it never happened. The blood test I had 2 days ago showed my white blood cells were too low, so they did another blood test to see if they'd increased at all... but they'd actually decreased since Monday, so they gave me the order of the boot and told me to come back next week.

The first time I met one of my neighbors, as guest of her husband, seeing that she quite bald, I asked if she was undergoing chemotherapy.
Turned out that she's an actress.
The next time I saw her in public, wearing a wig. I didn't recognize her till she reintroduced herself.

Glad the disappearance of hair does not appear to have had a bad effect on you. My son shaves his head and wouldn't be doing with hair again - says it saves on shampoo too
A bald head (male or female) is not a cause for comment much these days, there are so many.
Will keep fingers crossed things improve. Take care,

18th Century, everyone in the European middle and upper classes had their heads clean shaven as a hygienic measure and wore a wig in public.

Just thought I would drop in and see if there was any news. Take care, and post when you feel up to it.
