Well, everybody else seems to have unusual nicknames, so I figured I would get into the spirit of things. Hence the new nickname. We'll see if I decide to keep it or get rid of it after a while...

Actually, I don't have much of a nickname, but this is because working with computers for a few years has robbed me of my imagination

Well, 'spearcarrier' is somewhat unusual work, since a spear is not standard issue for computer work. Not even for sysadmins.
