remember what I said about getting sleep this week? Ain't gonna happen. I've written 33+ pages Sunday, yesterday and today.
And now I'm getting ...that can't be good.
Oh, well.

I reckon it's all those cokes I never see you without at the pub.
Or all that work your always doing.
You're at the pub now aren't you?

Actually, no. I just got home.
I've just got the cold that's going around. Nothing to worry about, really.
I've scheduled a full day of no school for Thursday. I'm taking my daughter to Legoland, followed by an evening with a visiting friend from Montana.
Oh, well.

You have a legoland in orange country? I didn't know it had reached the other side of the pond.
Oh, well.
Montana Redhead (now with letters) Posted Feb 25, 2004
Yep. Although I think it's in San Diego County, actually....
Oh, well.

Gosh!!!
Being American though I'm sure they've made the little people even bigger that anything they make in Denmark though.
After all. Doesn't everything have to be bigger on the other side of the pond?
I hear that a Scot ex-pat has been commissioned to go on the worlds biggest pub crawl. To write a book on the Definitive Best Pubs in Canada. Now that is a job worth having!!!
Oh, well.

I read a facinating article a while back about the process that Lego goes through for selecting a Lego Master.
I myself bought a lego kit just the other day for the princely sum of $4. It was quite fun to sit in a smoothie bar assembling this kit while people were getting their Chocolat Moo'd and Lime Sublime smoothies.
Oh, well.

Well I used to built lighthouses with furnsihed rooms, stairs and the lot when I was a kid. Still got all the blocks actually but I think my Nephew will have them soon.
Oh, well.
Demon Drawer Posted Feb 26, 2004
There were wheel when I was a kid we're talking about 30 years ago no. It was when they added tread to them and the little flexible people that I was taken back. The older people were larger and fitten in better with the normal block size.
Oh, well.
Montana Redhead (now with letters) Posted Feb 26, 2004
I think Lego went downhill when they stopped making the box o' blocks and started just making kits. They've gone back to the box, though. I bought one for my daughter.
Oh, well.

Lego has been seduced by the movie industry (who hasn't?), so now you can buy Harry Potter Lego sets, Lord of the Rings sets etc, where will it all end?
Oh, well.

My favorites were the sets with the horses and the sets where you built spaceships. What a contradiction! My horses used to have stables on the moon... *rolls eyes*
Oh, well.

My spaceships had little wheels so they could run along the asteroid "belt", I thought it was flat like a real belt in the sky!
