"On my guitar sell tickets
So someone can finally pick it
And tell the girls down at the Ritz I said hello
Tell the gossipers and liars
I will see them in the fire Let the train blow the whistle when I go"
'Let the Train Whistle Blow'
Johnnny Cash 26/02/32 - 11/07/03
Hope you finally found some peace, Johhny.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Sep 12, 2003
Jason - the bloke who runs the CD store - is a big JC fan. I think we're going to have plenty of the Man in Black on the storeplay today.
When I heard him singing 'We'll meet again' on his last CD, it really did sound to me like he was saying goodbye. I think he knew that it was going to be his last album, and he left that song til last on purpose.

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you're mine
I walk the line

Well, I know what'll be playing in my flat this weekend.
I'd sworn off doing pieces about dead people for the guide after Chuck Jones. But I think I may be sitting up to the early hours to tell the story of Johnny Cash.

Johnny Cash was unique among all types of musicians as he told it how it was through his songs, whatever his mood and championing what he believed and not because it was trendy, how many of todays 'stars' would perform in a prison, the world is a little sadder because of it's loss today

Haylle (Nyssabird) ? mg to recovery Posted Sep 13, 2003
One of the more surreal anthems of my childhood was 'Ghost Riders in the Sky'..his voice and Willie Nelson's voice have such a calmative effect on me. I suppose it might have something to do with having been raised by a country singer.

I think it's because it's such a fun word in my head..so very french sounding. So the missing 'r' is very apparent...i really need to find a hobby for my neurons

Not that I can think of off hand... I started using after a few months, so say about May 2002. How ever many times I've posted since then really, bar a few when I forgot it...
