h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, it is less than one week until the h2g2 First Birthday! It seems like only yesterday that I got that strange message from Ford. And when I got here it was mostly just green fields. Ah, memories...
*sigh*
I am helping with the party preparations over at http://www.h2g2.com/A296381 . I am helping to put up the decorations, and ice the cake. Ændr came over to the cake-decorating and had some really yummy cake for the party, too. There are also gonna be fireworks at the party, and Damogran will celebrate with a spechul display on the lawn as well.

The Damogran float http://www.h2g2.com/A289109 for the h2g2 Parade http://www.h2g2.com/A274835 is almost ready, although I would like to put some finishing touches on the balloon, it wasnt really intended to be used in it's present state. Dunno if I will have time tho.

Gargleblaster's Approved Article on Atheism http://www.h2g2.com/A254477 has had a response from DNA himself. Sorta interesting, and has started a small debate. Very difficult to discuss alla this without 'topic drift' and a whole buncha other things getting in the way but it is nice to have an [occasional] serious discussion. Should probably drop in to the FFFF [Freedom from Faith Foundation http://www.h2g2.com/A254314] more often.

Greebo's wedding day has come and gone. No reports back from our dear kitty yet...

Sir Spiny has hijacked the Flying Castle and gone joyriding about St. Lucia. His castle docking skills seem to need some work. Some of the courtiers have been bumped, bruised, and buried by the return of the castle. That hedgehog is SUCH a swashbuckler, but he really shouldnt land castles on the courtiers. We are looking forward to a lovely Royal Ball in the Great Hall, however. And maybe that flying party will get 'off the ground' *tee hee* Of course we have to get back to Damogran for the h2g2 Birthday Celebration and the fireworks on the lawn, an' the Parade an' everything, but you can accomplish wonders in VR.
