visited with the family yesterday. to borrow a truck. to move a futon. but, anyway. hanging out with countless really old people who care about you and look just like you, but whom you scarcely know, is kind of unsettling. and telling a selective version of the truth to emphasize the happy and functional parts of one's life for the benefit of others, done long enough, kind of makes one feel happier and more functional. and guzzling cheap convenience store coffee like a trucker all day doesn't hurt much either, i guess.
