Onions and Radishes and Parsnips
Bagpuss Started conversation Aug 7, 2001
Ho-hum, so the Spring Onion is over, but already there are plans for a radish and a parsnip. One or more of which may be held whilst I am within a thousand miles of the meeting place, which is good.
Speaking of which, all my Canada plans are going well. Turns out my baggage allowance is "2pcs" meaning 2 bags, no more than 32kg each. This makes my full allowance something in excess of my own bodyweight, and so should cover anything I can actually carry. Plus. the Canadian High Commission got back to me in significantly less than 2-4 weeks and said I can study in Canada, which is useful. Not only that, but the student authorisation also covers any work on the university site, e.g. a teaching assistantship, like wot I have got. If I just get my replacement passport, I'm sorted.
