Mother of God, Empress of the Universe

I read a lot. Too much, probably. Certainly enough that I wouldn't remember it all even a month later. It's kind of an addiction, my preference to watching mind-numbing tv. And shopping. Riding around in cars on errands. Talking on the phone. Normal-people things which occupy their time. So I've decided that, since I have no idea how much I really DO read, that I'll list the books here as I finish them. An experiment, of sorts.

I've been meaning to do this for the past several months but never got a roundtuit. Having just now finished re-re-re-reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (and planning a week of bingeing on DNA) seems as if there's no time like the present. The menu starts here.

Finished this week:
Fast Food Nation
The Master and Margarita
The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul
THGTTG

I'm impressed!

Prometeus

It is better I keep silence about the number of books I read (MoGgie can read in one year what I read in 10-15 years and, considering she's immortal, I think the gap cannot be filled).

Hmmmm. I haven't kept up with this list too well over the last couple of months. Haven't been reading as much as I used to, of course. No so much time.

Anyway, what I remember....

The Buddha in your Mirror--Hochsweder, Martin and Morino
Simple Steps to Impossible Dreams--Steven Scott
and a few by Terry Pratchett (I have a taste for him now)
Interesting Times
Lords and Ladies
