Ramblings of an old man

My son is away for twelve weeks doing his paramedic training so I said(in a weak moment I would taxi his 19 year old son (my grandson that is to work as he can't while he is away.
Well into my 81st year I now have to get up at six in the morning to drive him 7 miles so he can get a connection to work. No public transport at that time of the morning from this village.

Cool old Guy on his bicycle
"Does he have a bicycle?
My son (age 14) has to travel some 10km (apx 6.5miles) each day by bicycle.
Not only good for his health, he is also awake by the time he gets at school. (well also a little proud).
I do not want to make you redundant, just stating my situation, I do not even concider briging him each day. . .
Actually I do any travel less then 22km (15miles) by bicycle myself. "
