h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It seems the weather forecast was right. Its been dark, wet and windy all day here and cold with it. I had to venture out however as I had a dentist appt. All went ok until the dentist started cleaning said teeth and a tooth broke. I now have to go back for at least 2 more rounds of treatment to have a crown fitted. The dentists task isn't made easy as it appears the high doses of nitrate heart meds I take apparently affects the enamel and make teeth more fragile than usual. I've already been warned that I will probably lose them all at some stage and end up with false teeth. To quote the dentist, its more when not if.Oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. (hmm, me thinks there may be a pun in there somewhere)
Right, time to batten down the hatches, haven't got to go anywhere in particular for next day or two so the weather can do its worse.

I think might work...

I have gum disease & have to go for a deep clean below the gum line every 3 months. Urgh, it's horrible, & expensive even on the NHS, but hopefully it'll mean I get to keep my teeth for longer.
