h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

....nearly upon us once again.
Its been a mixed bag of events for me over the last 12 mths, what with problems with heating and suchlike after moving here but overall not too bad. I attended the god-daughters wedding, saw my older brother take early retirement and buy his first house as result and the family doing well.
My own health issues haven't got worse but certainly not better so I guess a no change is better than a change for the worse.
The govt don't do much for anyone's mental or physical well being with all the changes they keep making to the welfare system, I've been through two of their re-assessment/changes so far and there's still more to come from 2015 through to 2018 but I'll worry about that nearer the time.

So it just remains for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
