TODAY i DECIDED TO LOOK UP MY OLD FRIENDS.

SADLY I DO NOT THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE POSSIBLE, AS I HAVE A FUNNY LITTLE NOTICE WHICXH HAS COME UP SAYING THAT THE FIRST POSTING TO WHICH I REPLIED WHICH WAS WILLEM'S IN SOUTH AFRICA IS THE DATE WHICH IS CUT OFF FROM MY COMPUTER.

IF INDEED THE EDITORS HAVE DECIDEDTHAT THEY NO LONGER WANT ANYONE WHO IS [ROBABLY SUFFERING FROM DEMENTIA NOT TO BELONG TO THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE PLEASE BE SO KIND AS TO INFORM ME PERSONALLY AND I PROMISE NEVER TO BOTHER YOU AGAIN. I SHALL WRITE FOR POTERITY SAND FOR ALL OF YOU WHO MAY ALSO SUDDENTLY FIND THAT YOUR BRAIN REFUSES TO DO WHAT YOU WANT IT TO DO.

I ACTUALLY THINK THAT IF SOMEONE WITH A RESEACHER'S MIND WOULD BE INTERESTEDI WOULD BE PERFECFTLY HAPPY TO BE THE GUINEA PIG.

Dearest Christiane,

I have no idea what notices you have been given when replying to Willem's journal. Under NO circumstances would you ever be told you cannot come in and visit your friends.

We have had a few problems with servers - these are due to the popularity of non-registered users reading the site and filling up the caches quickly, we are have to empty them twice a day now! This does have the tendency to slow the site down a bit until a Tech gives it a swift kick

I am sorry to hear about your mini-strokes, yet you are still doing magnificently well just getting back into h2g2.

Please come back often, we don't mind your spelling mistakes - Lord, most of us are worse than you on our good days!

hank you so much for your faith and belief in me. I must admit that even some members of my family are being tiresome and it is becuase one of them has doubted my "sanity" I suppose,m that I am having to undergo this test tomorrow.

Honestly. !!

I do not care if anyone wants to take over and care for me. as long as I can have access to my son, and I am close to him, nothing else really matters. He never judges me or is ever unkind to me. something quite wonderful in this day and age,

I might add that it drives me dilly when strangers stop and talk to the person who is puyshing my wheelchair. I think I really can be called a "Ferocious" old lady.!!!

We are both at our computers. You at a reasohable hour. I at the beginning of a new day. !!

I have been re reading our old posts. This site is a wonderful memory boosterl Surely to be recommended for those of us who have expexienced memory loss. I find that I am remembering events - always happy ones thank goodness - which started many moons ago.

This is indeed satisfying. The marvellous thing is that although I have actually experienced pretty difficult and sad times, my memories are always happy ones. ""

I wonder if memories can be selective? I suppose so. Thank goodness I am a born optimist.

Is one a "bortn opimist " or does one become one? That is the question. !!
