h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Another intense week.

Worked last weekend. Very busy.
Then off this week. Should have got a lot
more done than I did, still I had some fun too.

After the quakes on h2g2 on Tuesday, I was a bit
frantic on Wednesday, trying to get the updates
done to the Project Glasgow article page. I got a
touch bogged down in 'Nested Tables' I had
hoped to get them all done before heading over to
Glasgow for the mini-meet, which turned out to be
not so mini after all. Traffic was bad, so it took
me over 2 hours to get from my house to the pub.
Should have been there at 5pm, got there at 6pm.
Updates of the evening will be added in due course.
Suffice to say, much alcohol was imbibed by all, and
then we went for a curry!

Thursday saw me meeting Lyns at the BBC. Got a wee
look around. Very interesting. had a cup of BBC coffee
in the canteen, and then off to meet up with Underground
Caroline, to be an extra and to help out while she did her
piece to camera, about Glasgow's underground. It was
bitterly cold, and I was slightly hungover. Still we had
good fun.

Friday saw me back in Glasgow again to do my piece,
including interviewing members of the public, and an
impromptu fashion show in one of the trendy clothes shops.
Followed by pizza and wine.

All in all a productive few days for the Project.
Can't wait to hear how the others got on this weekend.
