Flobble! (no vooning, no energy)
Phil Posted Jul 14, 2001
In London, awake after too little sleep. So I thought I'd do nothing productive and come on here (I'm trying to finish off resizing all my pics to upload to a website).
The last few days consisted of going to N Wales, camping near Bangor. Going to a pub I used to go to as a student and sitting watching an amazingly good looking lady choose great tunes on the jukebox (as well as drinking some ). I did a walk up Glyder Fach and managed to break my walking boots and get very wet. Watched the sunset from a beach on Anglsey. Went for a walk down a river gorge. Drove back.
Sums it up I think.
Make sure you have a reliable way of geting the draft emails from work to home (Save them as text files on a floppy, more reliable than email yourself!).

Broken boots. Not good. Though it sounds as though it was pretty productive, despite the weather. back home? Oh, I thought you were going away for the entire fortnight. So what's the plans for this week then?
Photos. Eek Only joking. Any good ones? Lot of work to do on them?
Yes, emails will stay in word or notepad format, and home via floppy.
*quick check to see if he actually reembered to bring one...yes, phew*

I was going to be away but I decided to change my plans when I realised I would run out of drugs if I did stay away all the time, so I needed to come back here anyway. I also thought a good nights sleep in my own bed might be nice too.
The photos need scaling and uploading (maybe a format change too if people can't see them properly).
Next week, so far I'm open to suggestion.

Yes, I can understand that. can't have you roaming around the countryside, not knowing where you are, without the necessary to keep you going.
And yes, I fully understand the proper kip scenario. Tho, I can't profess to having had a decent kip yet. These changes have screwed my sleep pattern right up. This is going to take a long while to get used to, I fear.
Feel free to ask me to view them when you are ready. I have acess to both IE & NS.

Though walking round mountains is excersise and means I don't need to inject as much (wonders what the moderator thinks of this talk of drugs and injecting ).
I too have NS and IE, even though IE just crashed on me (at least it didn't take the whole machine down like last night).

This should work. It's in a format designed for webgraphics. If you dl the image, what does it open with (I must say I got those problems too, so I may change them all to jpgs).

Just shows broken link. Even clicking on display image does zip.
.jpg might be better. Silly tho, because I know QT is installed on the PC I was using under NS. (problem with mine just now, can't have both IE and NS open. All to do with something else installed on here. Has stuffed certain access routes.) Ah well. keep plugging away.

When I've finished doing the work I think I'll try and see if I can get my prog (the gimp) to do a batch conversion. Meanwhile back at the ranch...

Try it as a jpg. It's only the one image from this time. Others are found in pmoss/meet (from the first meet I went to last summer).

Yup, need some more sleep yet though!
It'll be nice to see a bunch of mates I've not seen in a while.

If I could be bothered (and I can't ) I'd change the colour balance to remove the yellow tungsten glow!
I do hope people are happy with the photos. I'm sure they will be

I am sure they will be too. Haven't seen any mention of any other photos so far, but then I wasn't on yesterday, so have a bit of catching up to do. Ain't that what saturday DAYSHIFT is for?
Listen enjoy yourself when you get there, and don't drink too much
I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since Sunday. But then, been too tired to care either. Monday will be my next chance, I suppose. But not that bothered. Also get some more kip if you need it. You are probably still in sleep debt from last week.
Keep us all informed of your plans for this week. You could always come up for Tue/Wed/Thu if you want. You know the bed is there.

Sorry, not thrilled with backlog.
This is in reply to post 20,
I don't mind being held up by you, at all.
Quite enjoy it in fact.
Now then, who branded you a tart?
And just *where* have you been branded?
