Isn't it weird how time flies (not in the literal sense)?
If feels like I've only just started college and now it's the half term. A whole week of holiday, woo!
I was reflecting on the past couple of months last night and there has been some serious ups and downs. Mainly downs but I've been able to fight back and now I have 10 days of relaxation (Starting Thursday evening).
I may even paint my room! I'm meeting my Mum at homebase on Wednesday after college so I can choose what colours I want. The only problem is that we can't change the carpet without taking my bunk bed apart. So it's looks like I'm not going to get matching carpet. Sniffle.

Have fun painting your room Ducky Have you got any particular colours in mind that you're gonna paint it?
And enjoy the break
You're right I think September and October are just flying by, it seems like my son has just gone back after the summer and he is off for the Autumn half term next week, he won't be complaining though lol!
Hopefully things will be on the up for you now Ducky

Hey Ducky, can i make a carpet suggestion?
If you want to jazz up the colour of the floor without replacing the carpets.......buy a really bright, cheap rug. It can alter the look of the room, and you can change it when you want to re-decorate. It's amazing how little of a floor is actually visable when you've got beds, chests of drawers, wardrobes and various junk in the room, so a rug will cover most of the visable carpet.

Dunno why I'm complaining about not changing the carpet. My room has so much junk in it you can't see the floor anyway

My half of the room looks like a 5 year old boys room. All toys and clothes.
We've done it again Kit,every time Ducky starts a thread we take it over

Maybe Ducky was thinking of somebody else who has to have an eye kept on them all the time.
