h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Salutations, my silver salad forks.
I'm feeling a bit more up to par tonite, ball is on the fairway aiming for the green. Murray just wasn't with me for a bit, but I'm back and ready to face the 6-10 split and pull out a spare.
I finaly made contact with a few live threads (in case your keeping score, thats 2 for 7. Think the Cubs'd want me?) However one appears to be fireing its last neurons, going soft in the grey matter....wait, Cyber-alzheimer's!

Ladies and gentlemen, in case your just joining us, it appears your freindly neighborhood newshawk has stumbled upon a new disease, Cyber-Alzheimer's! This being a new and relativly unstudied disease the symptoms appear to be a bit sketchy, but this is what I've come up with so far...
1) Subject engages in a conversation with one person, and end the conversation with another.
2) Subject engages in a conversation, then wanders off for increasingly extended periods of time.
3) Subject professes intelectual interest with another, and then profusely ignores the subject of said interest.
As with the stone which gathers speed as it rolls, more details will likely impale themselves upon any who get close, so I would advise caution....and I humbly accept this burdon.
I shall chronicle the casualties, account the accidents, and register the reality of this chilling new threat to the cyber community.

In other news, excuse me while I check with my sources. It appears there is no other news to report.
Hip deep in the trenches at the crack of dawn (noon?), pounding the pavement, (with the wheels of my mighty steed, her name is Saturn, remember her? ), the surrounding area awash with resume's; painting the town white, with little black hieroglyphs. Yet the phone remains resolutly silent.

I may just have to start trying pretty soon

Most folks here at hootoo have cyber alzheimer's to a certain degree.

It's not just here, every chatroom / message board I've ever come across has it as well.

That was more an exercise in creative writing.
I realy didn't have anything when I started the entry , and you can see when inspiration struck ; I just let the charecter go with it. Quite fun realy, an experience I enjoy every time it happens; just sitting back and letting the story write itself.
