Oh I don't know, Douglas. Tonight is the evening of the School Concert in which a dozen ill-assorted groups of 15 yr olds [ensemble doesn't come into it] will perform inappropriate musical items as a dummy run for next years GCSE practical.
I may just read the programme and heave.

A friend and I once performed Lutoslawski's 'Wariacje na temat Paganiniego' (Variations on a Theme of Paganini) for 2 pianos. It was, I think, the highlight of my young musical life.
