Thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that the universe is 4 dimensional & circular. To explain: 2D circle- go left or right and end up in the same spot, 3D sphere- go left, right, forward, or backward and end up in the same spot, 4D universe- go left, right, up, down, forward, or backward and end up in the same place. This is just my theory that explains how the universe can seem to go on forever in all directions. Infinity is to hard to contemplate, so repetition is my alternative. Go any way in space, and you end up right where you started in space (even if the actual matter you started from is gone.) Just a thought.

Interesting Thought.
I agree with your idea that infinity is much too hard to contemplate because everything in our world has borders: walls, cielings, fences, state borders, national borders, etc.
The 4-D circular repetition theory is one of the best I've heard to combat the infinity theory, and i think you may be on to somehting here. I will admit, abstract dimensional thinking is not my strongest point, but its a cool idea none the less.
Anyway, If you can figure out some evidence to support this theory, let me know. I'm interested to hear more about it.

Wow, someone has finally responded to my entry of three weeks ago. Thanks, I'm glad someone actually thinks it's not some mad and insanely thought up idea. I've never really had anyone actually say anything about my idea before, and I'm glad that it's a postive responce. As far as research supporting my idea, I've never found anything on it really. I like to think that I was the first to come up with it, though that's probably not true. I got the idea from a show that explained what they thought of what a four dimensional square, or whatever you would call it, would look like, and I just applied the idea to a circle and then to the shape of the universe. Anyway, thanks for your positive and encouraging responce. Bye
