My eldest child has turned 31 today..I'm far too young for that.Snot fair!

But at least she's turned out to be a decent, responsible, hard working individual. It wasn't even hard work bringing her up..she is just naturally like that..If only I could get her to drink more cocktails with me.smiley - pggb

My eldest will be 30 this year. It doesn't seem possible!
Well done on producing such an upright citizen - keep trying with the booze!

I'm turning 60 this year. Sounds too old for how I feel & makes me horribly aware of being firmly in the second half of my life.

I'm 61,seems like we are all due to get our OAP around the same time so I'm guessing we all fell foul of the upgrading to 65 rule and are in the same 5 year cusp..

Don't think I'll ever get a bus pass. Round here the age for that has gone up too. I'm looking forward to getting a railcard though, so I can go to work at less cost!

Really I'm hoping to be asked for proof when I claim senior concessions - that people won't believe I'm that old.....

I'm not entitled to a bus pass but my husband is. He's 63 I'm 62 this year and I retire officially next May.I really don't understand why he has one and I don't.I do get free eye tests and prescriptions so why not the bus pass.smiley - huh

One is national government controlled, the other is local council, I think. We're getting parking charges at the park & ride too, soon.
