Okay... no, wait, here's another one... Ack!
I now own my own home. When siding people call me up on the phone and ask, I'll have to answer 'yes' to that question. On the other hand... (I have five fingers) I get to paint the walls, refinish the floors, put carpet and vinyl in, and frolic in my very own back yard. Which the landlord frowns upon. So it's all good. Except for the worry of 'signing my life away!'

What I'd really like to see is Gordon Elliot's Doorbell Dinners (or whatever it is) with the contents of *my* fridge. If a chef can make a gourmet meal out of half an onion and margarine spread, I'd like to know!
Yeah, we've been spackling the walls, nailing things together, replacing bits and pieces... I fell through the hallway ceiling on Monday - that was an adventure! I was climbing through the attic and my foot slipped on one of the rafters. Fortunately both hands caught a rafter and I didn't fall to the floor (kind of like falling off the monkey bars - the bars catch you under the armpits, usually, which hurts like hell.) We had to call the handyman in to fix that one! Hopefully we'll be moved in by the end of the month.
